$15.00 per person return.

Row Boat Hire
Row Boats can be hired for day and overnight use.

Full day Hire - $30.00 for 2 people, $35.00 for 3 people & $40.00 for 4 people.

Overnight Hire - from $60.00

  1. Hire Row Boats at Manapouri jetty 11am or 3pm (Oct-April)
  2. Hire Row boats at the Manapouri Store.

Row Boats can be used for-
Fishing- Rowboats can be used for fishing in the river provided they are 100 meters from the wharf at Pearl Harbour and you hold a current fishing licence. Fishing rods & licence's can be hired from local shop

Sightseeing on river- Row boats are for use in the river only and cannot be taken onto the lake, river provides opportunities for viewing bird life, native bush and just enjoying the peace of being on the river.

To access walking track- Walking track approx 15 min row across river to track, where it can be tied to a jetty and be left waiting for your return. (See map)

*Maximum per Row Boat is 4 persons
*Life jackets supplied with all row boats must be worn.
